Valentine’s Day and Easter mean all kinds of treats!
If the piles of wrappers and pouches are taking over your kitchen, your Zoo is here to help recycle all the “evidence.” Pack up all of your pretzel/potato chip/salty snack bags, foil lined and plastic wrappers from energy/granola bars and pop-tarts, aluminum cans, drink and snack pouches and bring them to the TerraCycle drop offs, supported by First Solar, at the entry gates at the Zoo.
There is no need to rinse or clean the items, just be sure they are empty and we will take it from there. We do all the sorting, as well. The new, open-to-the-public, Terracycle program at your Toledo Zoo is the recycling super center! For more details, click here
