The Toledo Zoo is excited to announce a new fall event, Luminous Nights. Running from September 29-October 29, bring the whole family to experience the wonder of Chinese lanterns!
Your Zoo will illuminate the night with 500+ lanterns in the shapes of animals and botanicals positioned to tell mini-stories throughout grounds. Individual lanterns can be upwards of 19 feet tall and nearly 50 feet long.
During the month-long event, enjoy activities for the whole family including pie eating contests, a scarecrow building contest, family pumpkin carvings and lantern making. Enjoy specialty foods and the beer garden at the Beastro next to the Lodge.
