As the largest species of octopus in the world, these incredibly intelligent creatures have been known to open jars and solve mazes in captivity. They are masters of camouflage and can change their skin color and texture in order to better match their surroundings. While not considered to be endangered, they are susceptible to environmental conditions, including high pollution levels in the water.
