We catch up with local influential men in Northwest Ohio and find out how they’re preparing for Heels for Healing at Levis Commons. The annual event, which takes place on October 20th, features men walking in high heels to raise awareness and generated donations for Team Recover, the outreach program FAAD, and Friends of Lucas County Children Services.
GobSmacked! is a beatboxing and a capella show out of the U.K. and they stopped by the Toledo School of Arts before performing in Toledo to meet with students and sing a few songs.

All nine of his American Standards albums have achieved top 5 status on Billboard’s Jazz charts. The concerts will be reminiscent of the Rally by the River events at Promenade Park in the 1980s and early 1990s, but larger in the scope of entertainment. The stage will be near the Maumee River; the performers also will be seen on a video wall on the side of the new parking garage. Each event will feature food trucks and an area serving beer and wine.
The 2018 Old West End festival is not just about the community, but also the homes. Built in the early 1900’s, these well-preserved houses give the OWE it’s charm.
