B*tch Thunder – Toledo’s all-female street band drumline group – held a fundraiser at The Original Sub Shop. Donations to the group went towards their trip to Austin, Texas for the annual HONK! Festival – a gathering of the best street bands in the nation.
We have some of the most AMAZING artists setting up in our halls! From made-with-love jewelry, to funny candle melts. Stained glass, denim bags, Renaissance cloaks, tea, mugs to put the tea in, we have it! Also featuring Nutrituous Nelle! Their food truck is set up in our lot and ready to go!
Pancakes and sausage were on the menu for the first-anniversary celebration of the Mac Street Café. The cafeteria – operated by Cherry Street Mission Ministries – provides hot food and engaging conversation to those needing a helping hand.
On Thursday, September 22, long tables will line Adams Street to welcome diners hungry for creative plates, locally-sourced food and to support a good organization, Food for Thought (FFT). The event, Eat in the Street, will continue FFT’s Dine Thoughtfully meal series.
