This episode of UNTOLD looks at the Million Dollar Robbery that took place in downtown Toledo at the Main Post Office (commonly known as the Jefferson Building). Robbers stole federal bonds and cash from a payroll truck before they were captured days later on a train headed to Chicago. This robbery thrust Toledo into the national crime spotlight and only opened the door to more criminals and crime in the future.
